And no, I cant reach the guy who put this PC together because of the holidays. Like I said, never ever had this happen on any Windows PC before so I don't have a clue how to get rid of this obnoxious Windows BS watermark. to what they dont say? Can I use just any old key from any old random source? To use the troubleshooter, select Start > Settings > System > Activation, and then select Troubleshoot. I went into settings>Activation where it says in red type 'We cant activate Windows on this device because we cant connect to your organizations activation server. Yes, I searched it and found a bunch of unhelpful gobbledygook. So I woke up today and turned on my PC and apparently Santa thought ho ho ho 'hey, Rudolph wouldn't it be funny to slap this halfwit with a watermark in the bottom right corner of his screen!? he he he saying ' Activate Windows go to settings to activate Windows.' which ive never seen or heard of in all my years of using Windows computers.
